Application Fee
UPSC charges candidates a nominal fee to take the UPSC CSE 2024 preliminary and main exams. Candidates may pay the UPSC Exam application fee online or offline. The predicted application fee for UPSC CSE 2024 is expected to be either 100 or 200 rupees, similar to the previous year.

Eligibility
The UPSC has specified several eligibility requirements that applicants must meet in order to sit for the Prelims and Mains exams.

Age Limit
- Applicants must be no older than 32 and at least 21 years old.
Education Qualification
- The minimum educational requirement for applicants is a bachelor’s degree from an Indian university that has been authorised, approved by Parliament, or accredited by the federal, state, or local governments.
- Graduates in their last year or those awaiting results may also apply for the UPSC CSE. However, individuals must demonstrate that they passed the required exam before they are eligible to apply for the UPSC Mains Examination.
Nationality
- various nationalities are needed for various UPSC tests, depending on the service category. Indian citizens are required to apply for the IFS, IPS, and IAS positions.
- To be eligible for consideration for all other services, candidates must be citizens of Tibet, India, Nepal, Bhutan, or persons of Indian origin (PIO) who are relocating to India permanently from a certain country or Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before to January 1, 1962.
Exam Date
- UPSC runs the Civil Services Exam (CSE) for group A and B level officers in order to fill significant government jobs in the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Revenue Services (IRS), among other ministries.
