SSC Phase 12 Notification 2024, Eligibility, Fee, Selection Process
On February 1, 2024, the Staff Selection Commission published the announcement on SSC Selection Post Phase XII 2024. Candidates must be aware that the application form may be found at https://ssc.nic.in/ if they satisfy specific qualifying requirements.

The Staff Selection Commission has officially confirmed that the SSC Phase 12 advertisement will be available at https://ssc.nic.in/ and that anyone who satisfies the eligibility requirements may apply by filling out the necessary information, uploading supporting documentation, and paying the application fee.
Vacancy
The Staff Selection Commission has not yet formally released the number of openings for the Selection Post Phase XII 2024 for Matriculation, Intermediate, or Degree level posts. Although there were 5369 openings overall in the previous year, it is anticipated that there will be 6000 or more openings in 2024.
Exam Date
The Staff Selection Commission has officially announced the dates for the 2024 Post-Phase 12 Exam. The exam will take place nationwide on May 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2024, and will be computer-based, lasting 60 minutes. Each question will be worth one mark, with the option for ¼ mark of negative marking.
Application Fee
If a candidate falls into one of the following categories: General, Other Backward Class, or Economically Weaker Section, they must pay the requisite sum of 100 rupees using debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI in order to apply online for the recruitment of Selection Post Phase 12.
Eligibility Criterias
Educational Qualification
- Matriculation: The applicant has to be a graduate of a recognised State or Central board and have completed the Class 10 Exam.
- Intermediate: The candidate must have passed the Science, Commerce, or Arts stream in the Higher Secondary (12th) Exam.
- Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in any field must have been obtained from an institution approved by the University Grant Commission.
Age Limit:
- An applicant’s age must be lower than 18 or greater than 30 in order to apply online for positions at the Matriculation, Intermediate, or Degree levels. For Scheduled Tribes/Caste and Other Backward Class, the upper age relaxation will be three and five years, respectively.

Selection Process
Written Exam:
- Mode: Computer-Based Test
- Duration: 60 minutes (1 hour)
- Number of Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Question Type: Objective Type
- Total Marks: 200 marks (2 marks for each correct answer)
- Marking Scheme: Negative marking of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Sections:
- Part-A: General Intelligence (25 questions, 50 marks)
- Part-B: General Awareness (25 questions, 50 marks)
- Part-C: Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skills) (25 questions, 50 marks)
- Part-D: English Language (Basic Knowledge) (25 questions, 50 marks)
- Medium: The examination will be bilingual, i.e., English and Hindi.
Skill Test:
- Applicants will be contacted for this step of the needed post if they pass the computer-based test.
Document Verification:
- The final selection list will be generated after the documentation phase, which comes after the skill test (if necessary) or CBT.
