The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released a notification for 2023: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) is seeking online applications from qualified Indian citizens to fill 995 vacancies for General Central Service, Group “C” (Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazette) posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, Grade II / Executive (also known as ACIO-II / Exe). From November 25, 2023, until December 15, 2023, eligible graduates may register online for the IB ACIO 2023 programme via the Ministry of Home Affairs’ official website, mha.gov.in.

Eligibility Criteria

Salary
- Security Assistant/ Executive: Level 3, ₹ 21700 – 69100/- with admissible Central Govt. allowances.
- MTS: Level 1, between ₹ 18000 to 56900, plus any allowable Central Government benefits.
Selection Process
- Tier-I: Computer-based Test (MCQs with an Objective Format)
- Tier II: Spoken Ability and Descriptive Type Examination Offline (Translation of a 500-word piece from local language/dialect to English and vice versa).
